Evolution of Human Energy Use

I start with a very basic sketch, just blocking out space and components. From our initial conversation, I’ll be providing a very rough sketch to make sure we have the components right.
In this example, I used the first panel of this cartoon to demonstrate the type of style my client had requested. I spent extra time to get the details right to give the client a reference as to what I’m aiming to
produce for their final product. We completely changed the final panel. This is why the first sketch is so rough, in the interest of time until we know for sure what we want in each illustration.
