Welcome to Zofostro Science, homepage of science communicator and civic-science liaison, Xana Riabokin.
I serve to communicate the technical details of climate science between scientists and their audience, create educational science illustrations and videos, and climate change lesson plans. I am currently ramping up educational materials that cover how photovoltaic cells (solar panels) work, the current state of solar power research and development, and the benefits of solar power as a true renewable, zero emission power source.
You will find my illustrations under the Portfolio tab; for potential clients that want to see my process, check out the progressions link.
I also have a course on astrobiology and free climate change teaching materials for high school teachers under the Education tab.
For examples of science communication, see my Projects, below.
For information on commissioned work, contracts and tutoring, please use the Contact tab to get in touch with me.
Let me draw your science!
